How long does sea freight take from China to USA

Shipping from China to the U.S. is approximately 14 to 40 days depending on the port of departure, destination, and Full Container Load or Less Container Load.

Example : Departure Port of Shanghai 14 to 24 days to Los Angeles/Long Beach, Departure Port of Ningbo 22 days to Seattle/Tacoma.

How to calculate freight charges by sea

To calculate freight charges by sea, you need to consider the following factors:

  • Volume (in cubic meters or cubic feet) or weight (in kilograms or pounds) of the shipment
  • Distance between the port of origin and the port of destination
